Since you can choose whether the spam should be erased straight away or delivered to another mailbox, you can set up spam@domain.com, for example, and check all filtered email messages there, so as to make sure that you won’t omit an email message that you require. The emails that the filter permits to proceed will still appear in your mailbox.
